SUMMER MAKES ITS WAY INTO THE DREAM WORLD

It’s officially summer once again in the dream world.

Last Monday, June began which also marked the beginning of the summer season. Temperatures across the dream world have been feeling warmer than they did a month ago and the weather has also cooperated with drier conditions.

Summer this year is expected to be average, at least according to the Dimension Weather Prediction Service. Their forecast models indicate that this summer shouldn’t be anything out of the ordinary and looks to be similar to that of last year’s summer which was also average.

“If you liked last year’s summer, you can expect more of the same this year,” DWPS senior meteorologist Cirrus told me, “Nothing too crazy to be expected. It looks like a lovely summer!”

Residents around the dream world are looking forward to a great summer.

“I can’t wait to hit the Beach and catch some waves,” Alonso, a District resident told me, “I love surfing. I think surfing at the Beach will be pretty great.”

“I want to go camping!” Felistra, a Hotel resident said to me, “I heard camping can be cool if you bring the right things and people along with you. I could sure use some time away from here!”

“I’m pretty sure the DFPS is offering tours of the wilderness this summer,” Delani, a District resident, told me, “I want to take a tour and see what is out there in the wilderness. I heard there’s some interesting history out there!”

With summer looking to be great, the weather service will monitor conditions around the clock regardless. Summer runs now until August 31. For the latest weather conditions, visit the DWPS website or your local forecasting office for additional resources.

COUNCIL SCHEDULES TRIAL FOR FRANCIS IN JULY

The Council of the dream world has quietly announced the initiation for Francis Robert P. Jackson’s trial will begin next month.

According to the Dimension Protection Force’s website, there has been an update to Jackson’s ongoing pending trial. In the announcement, the DPF posted that the Council has scheduled the sixth of July as to when Jackson’s trial will commence. This is about a month out, but it allows both the Council and those participating in the trial to prepare themselves for what could be a lengthy legal battle.

In such high profile cases, the Council has historically not been in favor of the accused. Even while there may be ample evidence and argument, the Council can be difficult to sway. For Jackson to have a ruling in his favor, he would need to present a very strong case against the DPF.

Officially, the case associated with the trial has been titled as Francis Robert Peter Jackson v. The dream world. When cases involve the DPF, they are simply referred to as “The dream world” unless in very specific circumstances in which the DPF is solely involved as a whole that doesn’t involve the general dream world.

Not much else is known at the moment about who will be present at the trial aside from Jackson himself and the members of the Council. It is likely that Intelligence Affairs chief Kamaria and former chief of the Dimension Investigation Agency Tsukanai Daiki will be present, but it is not known whether the other chiefs of the DPF’s “Big Six” will be physically present at the trial. Details are very scarce but more information should be made available once the date of the trial gets closer.

Hello Kneus! The Subliminal Tribune is the dream world's number one newspaper! The paper itself has been around since 1888- quite a long time in human years! Over the decades, it has evolved and gone through a lot of changes. It still maintains its reputation as the most sold and reliable publication around!

Within the Tribune, there are various sections to read. Ranging from dream world news, politics, entertainment, sports, weather, and other fun things! A typical edition is about 20 pages long and is published everyday! The paper still prioritises printing on paper for the most part, but as times change, editions are also simultaneously published online as well! We have a lot of reporters that go out and get scoops! You'll always see us where there is action going on as we try to get the juice of the story. We always carry a writing utensil and a notepad with us to take notes! Every good reporter should have this with them— it's so important!

We also have editors who look over our writing as they work on specific pages in the paper. Editors have to make sure our information looks good enough to publish. If the editor doesn't like it, they'll give you advice on what to edit or fix. If the editor likes it, it'll go in the paper! A lot of times, your story may not be accepted the first time around. It's all in the writing!
