An angel who works as the chief of the DPF's Dimension Disease Control and Protection agency since 2023. She monitors biological threats and other diseases and helps out with response in most situations. in 2022, she led the response to a parasitic outbreak that turned people into angry, zombie-like individuals and successfully tracked down the source of the outbreak and cure too. In 2024, she was part of a secret DPF mission to place transmitters across the wilderness of the dream world in an attempt to track down notorious criminal Francis Robert P. Jackson. Later that year, she ran a makeshift hospital in the Apartments dimension during Operation Blackout to help out individuals from succumbing to the frigidly cold temperatures and weather conditions. Since then, she remains as the chief of the DDCP in a relatively calm position and workplace. She can be straight forward, but outside of work, she enjoys reading, writing, and dancing.
More about Ophelia:
It's the dream world's first line of defense for a reason. You can't really have any sort of protection or order without it. Love or hate it, the DPF will be there to keep everyone safe.
The Dimension Disease Control and Protection agency is a worthwhile place to work at if you're truly interested in everything that has to do with public health. All of us here work hard studying different diseases while also working to prevent widescale outbreaks, eradicating diseases, and making sure everyone's healthy. We're responsible for coming up with cures for diseases that have yet to be eradicated in the real world. Yes, that's us.
You've heard the many stories of the Council and many of them— dare I say all of them— are true. They are a very strict, mysterious, and powerful organization. You wouldn't want to be before them, unless of course it's for something exceptional you've done. Their power is quite immense, though I suppose it's why some things are made sure to be...brushed away.
Truthfully, this nickname given to us by the public was a bit odd for me. I'm not really a fan on being portrayed as celebrities merely for doing our jobs, but if it's what makes us seem important in what we do, then I figured it's fine.
My off time is spent reading, writing and every now and then, I go out to dance. I've learned to dance since I was young and have kept up to it to this day. Not everyone can dance, but you're never too old to do so.
You really don't want to see what's under my mask. I'm not saying it's anything mysterious, but there's really nothing interesting under here. No really, there isn't.
I remember when Lucid had his trial in 1930 and it was pretty much all over the news. It was highly publicized, though sensationalized with many aspects of it overexaggerated. I will say that Lucid has had an impact still felt in the dream world to this day, but if the Council ordered for all of his achievements, records, and personal documents destroyed, I think I'd be pretty upset. They were not expecting him to come back and essentially wiped his existence clean and expected everyone to pretend he never existed. I'm not sure if he'll ever be caught, but it's not my business.
Almoral is a very strange character that I met during the NEAP-1 outbreak. Fairly enough, he is not the most strangest person I've met, but he's a character worth talking about for his peculiar way of handling things. While we had a rocky start, his contribution in helping to eradicate NEAP-1 was a marvel in itself. I would have never guessed he had the cure with him this whole time, though now that I think about it, I wonder how he came up with the recipe for those pie antidotes?
Francis' crimes will not go unpaid and I have gratitude for everyone who teamed up to arrest him. It was him who created a parasite that caused an intentional outbreak in 2022. It was a biological weapon intended to cause disruption to dream world life. He's been properly locked up since November 2024, but I wonder what his explanations will be for everything he did. He's kept quiet for now, but he'll have to confess soon.
I appreciate chief Kamaria for helping to guide me in my first few days, weeks, and months as chief of the DDCP. Her advice and guidance allowed me to better figure out how I'd be able to manage an agency in the DPF and her advice has worked thus far. While not extroverted, her collected and calm nature allows for her to be the voice of reason in meetings. She may not speak much, but when she does, it's worth a listen.
If I could describe chief Vivienne, it would be very lively. I don't mean that in a negative way, but she is very energetic and full of life. I think her way of living is how everyone should live because of how positive she has on the outlook of life. For someone who has the job in the forensic field, she might seem out of place, but she's very much in place for her field.
Similar to chief Vivienne, leader Finnegan is also lively, but you can tell something is off. I wasn't really aware of his backstory, but it came to me that Finnegan has had a rather unfortunate past filled with grief and misfortune. Despite that, he is always smiling and cracking jokes, but it appears to be just for show. Nowadays, however, he seems much more happier than before. For that, you can thank his new boyfriend...
I've known Sylveran prior to when he became chief of the DIA and he's always been a bit eccentric. I can tell that he had trouble making friends at the DPF in his early days, but he wasn't so different back then. Something changed in him one day and he's been like that since. Since becoming chief, he's made a loud voice for himself and has been persistent on issues we have under control. It's a bit tough trying to speak to him, but I guess we'll just have to deal with it for now.
Chief Tsukanai was remarkable as chief of the DIA and was held as the most important voice at the DPF apart from the Director. In his final days, he was firm in his decision to not put charges back on Lucid because of what he saw during Operation Blackout. It's unfortunate that he got terminated from the job, but he is still working in the DIA under Sylveran now, however. So while he's still in the DPF, his logic and ideas at the meeting table are truly missed. Maybe one day he'll be back?
A rather powerful and important figure in dream world history, Director Ferekides has run the DPF for so long that he is older than all of our ages combined. As head of the DPF, he's kept the agency in tact and holds a very positive image in the public's eyes. He is also smart and knows what he's doing whenever he makes decisions within the agency. The next time you get moved by the director himself, it may be part of a bigger idea he has in store. He seems to know what he's doing in his every move here, so keep that in mind if you ever work at the DPF.
