DIA CHIEF RETURNS, DREAM WORLD BACK TO NORMAL

The Dimension Investigation Agency has announced that chief detective Sylveran D. Angelus has returned from a mission into the Box dimension.

After over two weeks within the sub-dimensions of the Box dimension, the chief detective returned bringing along “a lot of new information and material” that he managed to gather on the expedition. The mission itself was to search high and low for Lucid within this strange place, and while that was the main purpose, some research was also conducted.

Even so, the DIA has not announced as to whether or not there was any evidence of Lucid within the Box dimension, but one thing is for sure: the chief detective returned solo.

For some, this marks a moment of skepticism. Many supporters of Sylveran had hoped that it would return with Lucid or at least found any leads or evidence that could lead to his arrest. The mission itself has not been announced as a success or failure, but over two weeks of searching, and a dream world that was marked by very zany happenings, this may have proven to be a half-bust.

The mission did result in a leak of the Box dimension causing strange happenings across the dream world. With the DIA chief back, the leak has been patched and things have returned to normal. The DIA confirmed that the chief detective was unaware of what was happening back in the dream world.

“So…what did I miss?” chief Sylveran jokingly posted on LiminalSpaces. The post itself garnered high engagement, though many people are asking in the comments as to whether or not Lucid was found or if anything relating to him was encountered in the Box dimension.

The DIA is expected to discuss the details of the mission into the Box dimension in the coming days as it reviews the material provided by the chief detective. In the meantime, the dream world is back to normal with no more widespread wackiness after the Box dimension leak was patched. No major incidents occurred as a result of this event.

FOCUS SHIFTS FROM WACKINESS TO WEATHER

Things will be rather wet soon.

As the dream world goes back to normal from the events of the past three weeks or so, the overall focus is shifting from the wackiness of that event to the impending change in the weather across the dream world.

Events from the Box dimension leak dominated much of the headlines in the dream world these past three weeks but such is the case when major events affect the dream world. In periods in which such major events come to an end, the overall focus of headlines shifts to the next topic that will affect much of the dream world. In this case, it appears it will be the weather.

The Dimension Weather Prediction Service has been monitoring weather conditions in the dream world this spring season and they’ve previously acknowledged that rainy weather will be slightly late this season but on the way. Forecasts are showing widespread showers and rain to begin sometime in the next week or two. It’s not out of place for the spring season but it is something notable set to occur soon.

“Yes, rain is on the way for much of the dream world soon enough,” DWPS senior meteorologist Cirrus told the Tribune, “I know a lot of people who adore rainy weather so they’re about to hit the jackpot!”

Cirrus told me that the threat for severe weather at the moment appears to be low but that is merely because it is still too soon to forecast such a scenario. Severe weather in the springtime comes in the form of strong winds, hail and tornadoes. While the threat may be low now, there is a chance for it to increase in the coming weeks.

“It’s too early to really tell if severe weather will be a widespread issue in the dream world this spring season,” Cirrus explained, “We’ll have a better idea once it actually begins to rain across the dream world. Each year there is severe weather but some years it is more localized than widespread. We just have to wait and see.”

Dear Nate, how important is recycling in the dream world?

Hiya Reed! Recycling is very important down in the dream world! In fact, it's pretty much mandatory! Whenever we have items that are considered recyclable, it's important that we end up recycling them! These items can be broken down and converted into new things all over again! We don't want things to go to waste if they can be used again!

The Dimension Disposable Waste Department, or the DDWD, is in charge of handling trash services in the dream world- including recycling. You will often see their workers cleaning up trash bins around the dream world. Trash that can't be recycled is safely disposed of in a manner that doesn't affect the environment. Oftentimes, it vanishes with a quick snap. Where does this trash go? We're not really sure, but some say it goes to the Void. At least it's not the dream world!

For recycling, these are taken to a special processing plant where they are put on a massive line that separates materials. These materials then get distributed until there's enough of each to later be broken down and made into new things. The DDWD does this in a safe manner obviously, but these machines are quite big and dangerous! As long as things are getting recycled into something new, they're alright!

Of course, we all need to do our parts to make sure we're recycling. Items that can be recycled have a label on them that indicates it is recyclable. If so, you need to put it in a special recycling bin for disposal. It's amazing how a plastic bag can be transformed into a water bottle. The power of recycling! We're really grateful to be weary of the environment and keep it safe!
