Description: "Questions for a Mad Scientist" was an event in the game. This story quest, which featured various events occurring on October 31 that intertwined with one another, had a lengthy interrogation with notorious criminal Francis Robert P. Jackson. Francis finally sat down with IAA chief Kamaria and former DIA chief Daiki to answer questions about his early life, Project Morpheus, and his plans in the dream world. In his interrogation, he revealed that the U.S. government had become aware of the dream world following the events of Project MKUltra. This led to the development of Project Morpheus in an attempt to reach this Earthly world through a "gateway" that could reach the dream world. After various scandals and self-sabotaging conspiracies, Project Morpheus would peak in 1986 but supposedly shut down after Francis was accidentally pulled into the gateway. Since then, Francis revealed he had worked independently to build his own home, base and other experiments that he began to use in 2022 up until his arrest in 2024. While he will remain behind bars, Francis looks to persuade the Council during his upcoming trial to let him stay in the dream world as he believes he may be useful to any future threats from the real world. Daiki plans to retire once Francis' trial reaches a verdict but will remain in the DIA in the meantime. At the same time, Count Anastasius was hosting his grand Halloween party at the Club once more with Almoral, Epsilon and Dylan tagging along. The party was a success this year with no incidents to occur. However, Epsilon and Dylan had to abruptly leave following a phone call from Nate. It was later revealed that Sylveran had found Lucid's home, but not Lucid himself. This prompted the four friends to figure out where Lucid could stay that was safe enough from Sylveran's hands. After 82 years, Lucid decided that his best place of stay would be at Almoral's mansion, where the two finally reunited and Lucid's curse was officially lifted...
